Dear Performers

Stephanie Singh and Aphrodite Belly Dance Studio (Non-profit organisation register in SA NPO 191-834), welcomes you to the Cape Town Oriental Dance Festival 2025.

What to Expect

Aphrodite Belly Dance Studio has once again collaborated with The BellaDonnas to bring you the Cape Town Oriental Dance Festival, at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on Sunday, 26 October 2025.

There will be stunning performances by studios from around the Western Cape (and possibly further afield too) - both live and recorded.

This festival is open to all belly dance studios everywhere and we would love to see you all there!

Applications

Applications close on 15 September 2025.

Please note that all performers at the festival will be required to buy a R90 performer's ticket from Quicket. (Non-refundable unless event is cancelled).

Duration of each performance: Max 4 minutes (music will be stopped at 4 minutes if it is longer)

You are welcome to apply to perform in more than one slot and we will do our best to accommodate your request (group, duet and/or solo).

We encourage you to bring all of your students to perform, as this is a festival aimed at giving everyone (regardless of their level of dance experience) a chance to perform on stage.

Please send a high quality photograph of your studio/dancer/s to either capetownorientaldancefestival@gmail.com to be used on our website and on social media, as soon as possible.

Music & Stage Cues

All music, performance introductions and stage cues/instructions need to be submitted by 13 October 2025. Music can be shared via DropBox or sent via wetransfer (https://www.wetransfer.com/)

Please be sure to submit clear instructions and stage cues for our sound technicians via email, ahead of time, NOT on the day.
